“Creating Our Best Life”  3/7

“Creating Our Best Life”

I thought I would write a few articles on this topic and this is the third in the series.

Freedom is one of the greatest gifts from the Divine. It defines our actions, our attitudes and our levels of personal responsibility. An important aspect of living our best life is that we must locate our true self in this world, individually and globally. We must built and connect to a deeper sense of the “I AM THAT I AM” principle. This is known as the Solar Logos, the definitive statement and universal expression of God that lives within us. It is the core spiritual truth of each person.

Spiritual consciousness is dependent on us accessing this principle. Once we have anchored and integrated this principal we interface with the world from a place of empowerment and compassion. We must work to expand our self-worth, enhance our self-respect and honor the I AM within us. We work to develop a greater sense of self-esteem that enables us to claim of freedom of choice. We must express the choices that define us and to honor our personality as the individual manifestation of our light. What we like, desire and choose are reflections of our individual choices that help carry us through the emotional and spiritual initiations that make us strong, resilient and more conscious individuals; teaching us who we are at a foundational level. No one can diminish this foundation because it is the rock of Self that illuminates our world.

Here are some of the attributes for cultivating our personal identity:

Self-Worth

This primary quality is a measure of how much we love and value ourselves. The more we value ourselves the less dependent we are on the world to define us. We create our own identity rather the world giving us an identity.
Sometimes it takes many years to develop; as we go through our unique experiences and challenges we are learning that we are always worthy of love, kindness and respect. This truth releases us from having to prove ourselves to others and makes us intolerant of anything that diminishes our value.
When we connect to self and identify with our sacred nature, we love and accept ourselves exactly as we are, and we have added another building block to living our best life.

Self-Respect

Self-Respect defines the boundaries of what is acceptable and what is not in our lives. It protects our wholeness, our dignity and our value and keeps what is noble shining brightly like gold, and prevents our spirit from becoming tarnished. Self-Respect lets us say no when boundaries are crossed and forms a natural boundary that filters out unkindness, and bad behavior from others. In this way we protect our precious selfhood freeing us to live our best life.

Self-Esteem

Self-esteem affirms the hard work and levels of accomplishment we have achieved in our life. It is present in our life when we do our best and are proud of our efforts. This can also mean being responsible for a family member or standing up for what we know is right. It is what we are most proud of, not what the world defines for us. Self-esteem builds character and defines the way in which we value our actions and efforts. It honors the light within us as we continue to live our best life.

Self-Confidence

Self-confidence comes to us when we know we can do something well. It might be that we have moved beyond our fears and doubts to a level where we can manage our lives and meet our challenges head on. When we have self-confidence we develop greater levels of power allowing our natural sense of worth to shine. It develops our willingness to address the challenges we meet with a certainty we can.

Empowerment

Empowerment comes from knowing our strengths, living our truth and always choosing to be free and unrestricted in our personal expression. Developing this personal power means to be responsible for our actions and our choices. It is not about what we do to others or what is done to us, it is the development of our inner strength, knowing who we are, what we want, and our willingness to be responsible for claiming that for ourselves. Our personal power comes from within. we empower ourselves by affirming our lives, knowing we have a place in the universe and we do make a difference. Empowerment enables us to be a force for good in the world.

Freedom of Choice

Freedom is the acknowledgement of our worth, self-esteem, levels of confidence and empowerment. Freedom is about our ability to choose our good and in freedom we choose the best life for ourselves. We fill our best life with love, beauty, health, prosperity, unity peace, and joy. As we mature in spirituality we value freedom as one of the greatest gifts of life. Integrating freedom is how we claim our God-given gifts and talents and how we express our being in the world. Living in freedom takes choice to the highest level of personal expression.

May we all hold the mirror of experience in front of us to reflect our choices; may we see the reflection of spiritual knowledge in our consciousness that encourages freedom and asks us to stop being slaves to external ideas or situations. May we develop and strengthen these attributes within ourselves and become champions of freedom from oppression of all varieties and may we be a source of healing to the planet and all those around us.

“Creating Our Best Life”  2/7

“Creating Our Best Life”

I thought I would write a few articles on this topic and this the second in this series.

Creating a Balance of Strength, Healing and Love

Our life force energy brings to us the power of light by which we “see” the spiritual truths. This light embodies strength, healing and love. It is incorporated in our field of energy as the light that shines from within and is the light by which we live in the physical world and see in the spiritual realm. This light allows us to have a deep abiding bond to the Christ, who is the bearer of light.

Calling in this light force energy and balancing this light allows us to focus on abundance, health, unconditional love, pleasure and ease. Developing these qualities is an essential for creating our best life. We will need to develop these qualities within ourselves by keeping our life force energy balanced between a good work ethic and giving ourselves permission for delight and pleasure. Our life force energy contracts in pain and opens and expands with pleasure and it requires a balance to maintain a healthy flow. This energy expands with self-acceptance and love and contracts with self-loathing or feelings of not being enough.

In order to increase this life force energy, we need to seek a balance between what is enough and what is efficient to meet our needs. At times we might feel this energy stimulate us in the form of a consciousness of greed and sufficiency so we are able to gauge if we have crossed the line of too much. By paying attention to our life force energy and with the help of our “gut” or intuition we will know satiety and this can assist the mind when we have crossed the line. Sufficiency can be anything from the amount of food we eat to the amount of exercise we do. It can refer to how much money we need or how much rest and relaxation we allow ourselves.

Health

Health is vitality and resilience and comes from our life force energy. Health means we have regenerative ability and can create reserves of this energy for times of challenge. Being healthy requires a willingness to move and live the life of the body. Learning to love the body, just exactly as it is, this is the gift of a healthy and loving mind and heart. Building in pleasure, giving the body time for rest and regeneration is essential for creating our best life.

Unconditional Love

Our levels of unconditional love, brings healing to everything we do and is behind every experience we have. Our ability to love our self, forgive the past and honor our needs defines who we are. It is through unconditional love for ourselves that we bring in the life force energy and the forces of healing into our lives. It implies we love ourselves without reserve or doubt. How we honor our needs, feel our feelings and express our truth is a measure of how well we love ourselves. Love and forgiveness release the grip of negativity that we sometimes allow to have power over us. Unconditional love puts an end to sacrifice and a need to prove our worth and it frees us to live our best life.

Pleasure and Ease

Ease and pleasure fuel our wellbeing; by providing joy, and both are essential components for a healthy physical life. They are the ways we relax, let our hair down and have fun. We might want to see them as not an end in themselves but rewards for hard work and responsibility. Spiritual maturity requires balance between being able to work hard and play well, accepting the complexity of hardship and ease, frivolity and gravity. Real ease, involves doing what you like, when you like. For example, people who work and toil too hard, dry up and lose their edge. Others who indulge themselves too much, without responsibilities might be spoiled and narcissistic. Living your best life requires finding the middle ground; the balance of self-love and discipline.

Abundance

Prosperity and abundance reflect a belief in our innate worth to be loved, blessed and fully supported by God. Spiritual teaching says money and love come from God. Allowing prosperity to come into your life reflects a belief that you are worthy of receiving your good and you acknowledge it as a right when you claim it for yourself. It is ours to know that we are worthy of what we say we want in our lives. Trusting that it is ours takes great faith. It is an inner knowing that God wants us to be happy and enjoy the fruits of his garden. Call this to you by envisioning a wealth of goodness flowing to you and be open to receiving your highest good and greatest joy. Abundance reflects your right to pleasure and joy while living your best life.

It takes both will and intelligence to create our best life. May we all live with healthy guidelines that encourage us, ones that support ourselves and support our spirit and may we all realize that gentleness, tenderness and love are the attributes we need to create and enjoy the fruits of life.

“Creating Our Best Life”  1/7

“Creating Our Best Life”

I thought I would write a few articles on this topic and this the first of a series.

Creating a Solid Foundation

A good strong foundation anchors our life force energy in the physical plane, it ensures our survival and the quality of the life we live. We thrive well with constancy and we function well with stability in our lives. When the foundation of our life is healthy; it expands and supports our life more fully. We can take on more responsibilities, be more creative and more playful. A healthy foundation is flexible, and at the same time enjoys the daily rhythms of life. This stability allows us to be more patient as our life unfolds; less reactive, less volatile to what is external to our being as we learn to accept life as it is. A strong foundation also helps us to maintain our spiritual connection when the winds of change blow in our lives.

We want to create a foundation that is as strong as the concrete foundations of a house and can hold our life in place. Without a strong foundation the irregularities and mishaps of life will buffet us about and wreak havoc in our lives. Our Spirit will not survive well with constant change and we will be like a feather in the wind.

Here are some of the bricks I feel are important to building a strong foundation:

Patience
Patience is indicative of a strong and healthy foundation. If we are restless, constantly moving from place to place, job to job, or relationship to relationship; the foundation is both weak and undefined. It will not have strong boundaries to hold the life force energy. This will create restlessness and a constant desire for change. Patience is a defining quality of our foundation; it allows us to firmly and fully root ourselves into life. We can only be truly creative and happy when we are rooted in our own life.

Security
This quality regulates us and gives us a sense of well-being. It allows us to let down our guard, relax and recharge our energy. Security releases us from fear and worry about our survival. Ultimately it helps us create reserves of life force energy for going through challenging times. We need to experience security in order to feel protected. Security lets us thrive, and in doing so we come to know the truth and beauty of our spirit. Security helps us to remain focused on the good in our lives and lets us define healthy boundaries that provide a margin for comfort, ease and assurance.

Stability
Stability keeps us steady through change. It implies being balanced and having the ability to be flexible and to move with the flow of life. It stops us from becoming reactive or feeling threatened. Stability allows us to focus on our inner world. It supports our awareness and gives us a clear perception of the world around us. When we are stable, we know what is best for us, and how to re-adjust ourselves to remain steady and constant. Stability helps us to trust in life.

Structure
Structure permits us to create rhythm and routines which define our daily activity. It supports us in maintaining a foundation that will hold our gifts and talents so they can develop. Structure gives strength and purpose to our efforts. Structure is power.

Administration
This is the ability to organize and administer our lives so we have a sense of control of the external factors that influence us. It suggests order in how we use our time, energy and resources for the highest good. We will want to eliminate waste and dissipation because they interfere with the flow of life. Those who have given up on their dreams have difficulty manifesting what they need for their survival and often fall into despair. Others who administer their lives carefully and realistically have a strong healthy foundation and experience abundant vitality and joy in simply being.

May we all build and cultivate strong foundations for ourselves; ones that help us emerge victoriously in all aspects of life.

The Most Fulfilling Road

The Most Fulfilling Road

Finding Your Next Step in Life

Our lives are made up of a complex network of pathways that we can use to move from one phase of life to the next. For some of us, our paths are wide, smooth, and clearly marked. Many people, however, find that they have a difficult time figuring out where they need to go next. Determining which “next step” will land you on the most direct route to happiness; fulfillment and the realization of your life purpose may not seem easy.

There are many ways to discover what the next step on your life path should be. If you are someone who seeks to satisfy your soul, it is vital that you make this inquiry. Often, your inner voice will counsel you that it’s time for a change, and it is very important to trust yourself because only you know what is best for you.

In our search for happiness, those of us on the path of transformation and personal growth often have a tendency to analyze our unhappiness in order to find the causes and make improvements. But it is just as important, if not more so, to analyze our happiness. Since we have the ability to rise above and observe our emotions, we can recognize when we are feeling joyful and content. Then we can harness the power of the moment by savoring our feelings and taking time to be grateful for them.

Recognition is the first step in creating change, therefore recognizing what it feels like to be happy is the first step toward sustaining happiness in our lives. We can examine how joy feels in our bodies and what thoughts run through our minds in times of bliss. Without diminishing its power, we can retrace our steps to discover what may have put us in this frame of mind, and then we can take note of the choices we've made while there. We might realize that we are generally more giving and forgiving when there's a smile on our face, or that we are more likely to laugh off small annoyances and the actions of others when they don't resonate with our light mood.

Once we know what it feels like and can identify some of the triggers and are aware of our actions, we can recreate that happiness when we are feeling low. Knowing that like attracts like, we can pull ourselves out of a blue mood by focusing on joy. We might find that forcing ourselves to be giving and forgiving, even when it doesn't seem to come naturally, helps us to reconnect with the joy that usually precedes it. If we can identify a song, a picture, or a pet as a happiness trigger, we can use them as tools to recapture joy if we are having trouble finding it. By focusing our energy on analyzing happiness and all that it encompasses, we feed, nurture, and attract more of it into our lives, eventually making a habit of happiness.

Personal growth always results when you let yourself expand beyond the farthest borders of what your life has been so far. When figuring out what your next step will be, you may want to review your life experiences. The choices you've made and the dreams you've held onto can give you an idea of what you don’t want to do anymore and what you might like to do next. It is also a good idea to think about creative ways you can use your skills and satisfy your passions. Visualizing your perfect future and making a list of ways to manifest that future can help you choose a logical next step that’s in harmony with your desires. Meditation, journal writing, taking a class, and other creative activities may inspire you and provide insight regarding the next step in life that will bring you the most satisfaction. .... Ecstasy and Love

Ecstasy and love is not the same thing. We often get them confused. There are some connections that open us so wide that we cannot help but call them love. But they may not be. They may just be a transcend-dance, an invitation to delight, the heart opening that we so desperately needed after years encased in armor. We call certain people into our lives to awaken us, to re-heart us, but that doesn't mean they are the beloved. If a love is real, it is a portal to the all that is; excavating light and shadow from their hiding places. The glory and the gory, rise in unison, calling us to the sky and the earth in one fell swoop. Love is far more than floating to the heavens on a dreamy magic carpet. Love is sustainable. Love is inclusive. Love has feet that walk through time and space.
